# Scam scenarios:   ask for money

# Details: Met a person through an on line dating service. The person in question was not the person from the profile. The profile stated that it was a girl from Mexico but the response was from a girl from Russia. I suspect the person may be a male posing as a female. Weve been corresponding for two months but she (the person) frequently does not respond to certain questions I ask her. Ive investigated one line dating scams and have a feeling that my scenario is playing out in accordance to these scams. She suggested that she visit me instead of my visiting her, yet has not given me her last name or phone number (only the town where she is supposedly from).rn I had already given her my address and phone number (she said she needed it to obtain a travel visa). She is currently seeking advice from a "travel agency" in order to get passage to visit me as a tourist. According to the scam scenarios, she will soon solicit me for money. I am still in contact with her, but am nearly certain that this is a scam.rn
