# Dangerous: 22%

# Scam scenarios:   money for travel

# Details: First she tells me that she is not like other Russian girls asking for money - she is going to sell her mothers house in Stupino village (her mother has just died) and she will use the money to come and see me. She has a cousin in my country.rnShe already has a buyer for the house but just before she is due to come to see me there is a hiccup - she cant sell the house because her mother did not pay off all the loan - she needs €870 but no problem her cousin will lend it her. Oh no, the cousin has just gone on holiday to Cuba and its impossible to send money from Cuba to Russia - can I help - the cousin will send me a cheque - can I send a Money Gram or Westerm Union transfer to her as soon as I get the cheque.rnI say no and get no more emails for a couple of days - then she starts emailing me again from a different email address starting back with the very first letter, followed by the second letter (complete with blank spaces where she forgot to insert my name).rnWhatever I put in my replies makes no difference - her letters all follow a pre-programmed sequence!
