money for tickets
# Details: this person claimed to be working with the humanitarian organization DoctorsWithoutBorders. We spent a few weeks talking daily through email and instant messaging then they started having problems securing a ticket to leave nigeria. "She" had money for the ticket that she "collected from her colleagues" but was short of what "she" needed to get the airline ticket.

Money was always sent to Derrick Adeyemi who was supposedly the doctor and trusted friend at the refugee camp where "Kim" was working. The first time money was sent ($100 to help the little girl) I recieved a thank you note from doctors without borders (an actual humanitarian organization).
the return address for thank you email was:
"MSF headquaters" <
[email protected]>
upon verification i found out that MSF/Doctors Without Borders is not affiliated with this address.
the second time was to help her cover travel expenses, she promised that i would be reimbursed when she got back to the states... she was paid with a cashier's check that could not be cashed in nigeria because of the corruption in the banking system.
I sent $920 and for my trouble all i got were more IM's, phone calls, and emails asking for more money 400 for "exit tax" and 480 for "travel insurance" at this point i became very suspicious and have refused to send more money.
