Hello, Brian!

How is your day? Lately I watched a TV and there was a programme about Halloween. I wonder, do you have the
holiday which is the most sweet? My favorite holiday is New Year and my birthday. Ok, enough about it.
Did you Brian ever heard about working between countries for exchange? People from one country work or study
in other country and people from other country work or study in first country. This is program which allow to
work and live in country what you want but the education (for working) or direction of education (for studying)
required. As I told you I will come to north america (united states or canada) for living and working. I'm an
cardiologist and I prepare for examination for having job outside my country. There is an agencies in different
countries all over the world which work with different agencies in other countries. So agency from my country
make all papers for my job and when I'll complete all tests and exam I will come to place in north america. I
will choose the place in agency and will work and live there because employers will give me the financial support
provided to the needy and I could live. The exam will be soon and they told me that I will come because many people
all over the world do this things and I'm the very good specialist in my speciality. Now I will finish my work in
russia and prepare for coming. I guess it will be after 2-3 weeks when I complete all procedures and get all papers
for coming. I heard that americans are good people but I know that there are many bad or good persons in any type

a good cardiologist could earn much money, could earn more if job will be in developed countries and this speciality

I could do any type of an cardiologist's work and it's very important because I have the possibility to work in any place

time but I'm sure it takes more time for me because my native language is russian and I'm sorry if there are many

I hope you understand that I must come in New York city first because there is main office where I will choose the

Weekend is over and I need to back to work! Oh, another
Monday - you know what I mean (smile)! Last weekend has
gone very fast: on Saturday I was working hard till the
evening, on Sunday I sleep till almost afternoon. Then
I have cleaned my apartment, washed my clothes, cooked a
vegetable soup (very tasty!) and then have watched the
movie Da Vinci Code. Have you seen it? Quite interesting
movie but too long in time (smile). So Sunday is over!

How is the weather there? I hope not bad. How are you today? Is there something new? Not much new here.
I have some free time from my work to write. Did I tell you before that I'll have a test on this Thursday?
You know we have a rule here: to not study in the day before the test to keep the head fresh. So I have only
today and tomorrow to prepare for this test. Do you have any rules like that? It would be interesting to know.
Maybe any tricks on the tests? Please do not think that I'm going to trick the test commission. It is not my style.
It is just my curiosity. Do people in America trick during the test at all? You know here in Russia tricks are
considered like a shame. Ok, enough for that. Brian I'm always glad to receive your letters(pics)! And I can
say that I did receive all you sent, do not worry. I have to tell you that I like talking to you very much and
I want you to know that I'm chatting only with you Brian. I really hope that we could be friends and you could
help me to settle down. I think that you are very honest, loyal, pretty enough. I believe that you have a very
kind and warm heart, and all that you wrote was sincerely. It's hard to propose right now but I think we could
become more than friends in the future. Of course I'm aware that we have to know each other much better, to meet

As for my agency it's a very reputable organization. They work for five years already and they sent many
people not only to America or Canada. They send people to Australia, Europe and even to Japan! I just can't
believe that somebody learned Japan language! It is so hard! Did you try it? Of course my agency is not
working for free. I have already paid them $1000.00 dollars for the different paperwork like the preparing
of foreign passport, visa, and my medic license and etc. If I will pass the test I'll get the international
license and I will have to pay $1500.00 dollars else which will be for airfare and to the agency itself for
their work. You know it's a lot of money for me; I suppose it's a lot of money even for America. I was told
that if everything will go ok, I'll fly to America throughout 2 weeks counting from the day of the test!
It will be by October 25! I also hope that your town or area will be acceptable. They told me that they will
let me know later.

Hi Brian!

It's Wednesday today and I have some free time. As I told you I will have the test tomorrow.
Yesterday I had preparing for it during all day till 11 p.m. and have tired very much after
it. So today I do not study and have some time for rest and "freshen up" my brain (Smile).
Oh, how are you today? I hope that all is well with you and your relatives. I have my mom
visiting to me yesterday in evening. We have drink some tea and I have told to her about you,
Brian. She told me that it was not a surprise for her because she saw some different in my
mood and behaviour. She told that I have become more smiling and my eyes become shining since
I have started to correspond with you, Brian. It's her words! Imagine? It's a fact. Ok,
enough about it.
Just remember about the funny animation. Ice ages 2, and decide to tell with you about movies.
Do you like to watch movies? I like to it. For example, I like pseudo-historical movies: Troy,
King Arthur, Brave Heart, Kingdom Of Heaven; some fantastic movies: Artificial Intelligent,
Terminator 1-2; movies with suspense: Green Mile, Sixth Sense, Signs, Village; and of course
romantic movies: Sleepless in Seattle, City of Angels, Keith & Leo, Serendipity, A Walk to
Remember and others. What is your favorite actors and actresses? I like Al Pachino, Robert
De Niro, Russell Crow, Brad Pitt, Mel Gibson, Keanu Reaves, Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron,
Gwineth Peltrow, Sharon Stone. But Bruce Willis is my favorite. It seems to me that I told it

you want to tell. I will glad to know something new about your country at all. Sometimes when
I watch the movie I have a wish that someone would sit close to me and hug me while we are

Hi again, Brian!

I almost complete my work for today and write to you again before I will go home. I just
returned from outdoors about a 30 minutes ago. It's cold today. Just about +9 Celsius.
Brian, I want to ask you, what weather (season) do you like? I like summer and hot
weather! But I like snow winter too. You probably could see my clothes style on pictures
that I sent. But I would like to tell with you about it. Hope you don't mind (Smile)?
So, is it interesting for you to hear about clothes? I ask you because most of russian
mans like just to see on beauty and sexy dressed woman, but do not like to tell about it
and especially go to shops and stores with woman. Are american mans have such mind? Just a
curious... At the hot time of the year I like to wear short t-shirts, shorts if I am not at
work. To my work I wear soft jacket and pants or skirt at that season. In the winter I wear fur
coat cause it is quite cold, windy and snowy. I like when men wear classy jackets with tie,
good jeans and nice shirt. The main is that man looks like a man and have at least a little
style. I like jeans clothes too. Also I like to wear sexy stockings, short skirts and high heels
for my man. I have some lingerie and sexy underwear. Lately I have found Victoria Secret's web
site. Did you hear about this company? They make really nice and sexy lingerie. I would like to
buy some of it when I will be in America. So what clothes do you like the lady wear? It's interesting.

Oh, Brian, also I want to ask you, do you like to read books? Do you read often? I like it very much!
It is very interesting to know new things and imagine yourself in another places or even worlds. As
far as I remember I read books all my life. Of course there always is a time when I don’t want to read
but it is just a short time periods (for a week or two). But after it I read another books with much
more interest! In my childhood I like to read about nature, animals and birds. Also about adventures
like Treasure Island by Stevenson, Robinson Crusoe by Defo, Mystery Island by Jule Vern. Then I had
read science fiction and fantasy like books by Harry Harrison Death World or Tolkien Lord Of The Rings.
I have read also detective stories like stories by Agatha Cristy of James Hadley Chase but not much of it.
Men usually suppose that women like to read love novels but It is not a rule. I read some of them
but the thing I like is just a French series of books about Angelica by Ann and Serg Golon. I like
it because of it describes old times Europe (17-18 centuries). Now I read books in many different
genres like alternative prose (Chuck Palahniuk), history novels (Zweig, Sabatini), horror (Steven
King), science fiction (Heinlein), fantasy (Sapkovski) and so on. Russian classics I read also but
not so often (Pushkin, Dostoyevskiy, Tolstoy). So do you have favorite book? What is your favorite
genre or genres may be? Oh, I think this letter will be long again. I am sorry if I will spend much
of you time when you will read this letter, but I have also about 5 minutes and want to ask you
last thing. I want you to tell me about cars a little. Did I tell you that I have a driver licence?
I am not very good driver, but I can do it. I get my licence about 1,5 years ago. As you can know, my
father dead 4 years ago. He had a car and in testament he gave this car to me. Car was stay
in garage about 2 years. Then I went to study for driver licence. I don't drive a lot. About 5-6
times in month. So I want to know, need I get new driver licence when I will go to america, or I
could use my one? I will try to get to know it in my agency, but may be you know about it? Also
could you tell me about types or models of cars which are popular or your country? Or may be you
have some peculiarity of you area which can affect on people's choice when they buy a car.
(I mean some peculiarity of relief or weather etc. For example we have very bad roads so if I would have
enough money for buying Ferrari, I will not buy it because this car just couldn't ride on our pits

Good day my faraway friend Brian!

We have good weather today: the sun is shining, no wind.
Well I think I figured out what is going on with the letter sending/receiving. Indeed I have troubles
with getting letters from you. It looks like I'm getting all of your letters but it seems that the
letters and pictures are delaying for a day or two. Also I think that this situation is already become
normal. So, please, do not be confused if I did not answer to some of your questions immediately,
I'll answer them for sure later.
Brian, I want to ask you to find out one thing: How much does it cost to rent an apartment in your town?
Please let me know ok? I was told that I'll have to rent an apartment on my own. Fortunately I was told
that my agency in NYC will give an advance for the first time which I'll have to repay them in 6 months.
They said that this money will be to pay the rent. So, Brian, if it's not so difficult, please find out
it for me.
You maybe wonder if I had a boyfriend before. I think that you have a right to know about it. Indeed there
was a man in my life. In fact, it is not a very interesting story and it ended badly. We are not even friends
for now. He started to drink alcohol daily and he was very rude with my in the last period of our relationship.
I might tell you about it later.
Brian, finally I found out why I had no success with the Yahoo messenger. Turned up that the our internet
line is dial up and the internet speed is very slow. Over and above our system administrator told me that
my computer is behind the firewall, so I can't use messenger. That's bad, but I'll try to find a way to a
use messenger anyway.
I'll continue to prepare for the test during this week, so if you'll didn't get a letter

I want you to know that I went today to my agency and asked them if they can find a work for me in your
town or even though in your area. They said that they are not sure for now but it seems to be possible!

Hello my friend Brian!

How have you been there? I hope that all is well with you and this letter will find you in a good mood! How is the weather there?
I hope not bad either! We have a little cold weather here but it's a normal temperature for this period. Well I have to admit I'm a little
bit worried Brian. I don't know if you received all my letters and if I got all of yours. Please look into your spam folder and
maybe you'll find there letters from me or review my previous letters.
I've got a call today from my agency and they told me that I'll have the test which will confirm my skill in the cardiology by next week.
You know I'm a little bit nervous. If I'll pass this test I'll have an international license in cardiology! I'll be able to practice all
over the world! Brian, I want to make things clear and let you know that as soon as I come to New York I'll sign the contract which
will guarantee my employment for two years. Also I'll have the chance to make a choice the place (city) to work in. I will stay in New York
for a couple of days and then I'll move out to the city I'll choose. In fact I want to stay in the New World and never come back to Russia.
I'd like to get a citizenship in the future. Who knows how everything will turn out? As for the family I think it is also very important for

dream: to cross America form cost to cost on the car or even on the bike! I have never ridden a bike and really want to try it! You maybe
think that I'm crazy, but if you would ask what I'd like to see in America mostly I'll say America itself! Please do not think that it's a
crazy idea, I really like to get to know America from the inside.
Oh, almost forgot, I've just figured out that my phone cannot make an international calls. I can call to the phones if they installed in our town
only. I know it might sounds absurdly, but it is so. I'll try to figure out if I can call from the phone station. I think it will work. Also I've
tried to install the Yahoo messenger onto my computer at work, but it does not work. I'll go tomorrow to talk with the system administrator what
was the problem. Hopefully he will help me to understand what went wrong.

Hello Brian!

How are you there? I'm sorry that I didn't have a chance to write to you earlier. I hope that all
is well with you and the weather is not bad also! I'm here feeling well and the weather is good
enough! Well, in Thursday I passed the test as you know and yesterday I celebrated it with my friends.
We went to the cafe and drank some bear. Do not worry we didn't celebrate too much (Smile). We all know when we
have to stop. But I still feel that my head is ailing. Upon the whole it was fun. I wish you were there
with me. Ok, enough about. This morning I went to my agency and I had a conversation there. I was told
that as soon as I come to NYC a man from the agency in NYC will meet me in the airport (JFK). Then we
will go to the head office of the agency where I'll get to know the conditions of the contract, I will
confirm the state and the town where I want to go for work and will sign the contract. I was told that
the agency in NYC will provide with the apartment until all paperwork will be done. I think I'll stay at
NYC for a couple of days. Also I'll get an advance to support myself for the time. They said it will be
$4300.00 US dollars which I'll have to repay them in six months. As for the salary I'll be paid, they said
it will be $52000.00 in the first year and $68000.00 in the second one. I'll sign the contract for two years,
and if everything will be ok I'll try to get the citizenship. Brian, can you tell me is my salary will be
good for America? Well, I'm sure that I'll have more detailed info later. I'll let you know about it for sure.
You know some of my friends convince me to choose Europe for work since I have an international license and
can practice all over the world. They say that Europe is much closer to Russia and we could communicate easily.
But I think that it's not a big deal. No matter where I'll work (live). Since all of us have an Internet access
a communication becomes not a problem. Besides I think the Europe is not so perspective as America. Brian,
I caught myself on the thought that don't know an American music at all. I don't mean Britney Spears or something
like that. I mean if you have a national style of music. I've heard of country for example. Is there anything else?
I'll glad if you will advise me something to listen to. Maybe you'll give me some names and I'll take a look. By
the way, I want to ask you if you have any rollercoaster near you. I'd like to visit one someday.

Hello Brian!

How are you? I am good today. It's a sunny day in my city and I have a good mood. Hope that
weather in your city not bad too. As I told you I passed the test and it gave me some hard times.
Fortunately it is over now and I can start to prepare for my trip. Too bad that I'll set out to
NYC alone. In fact there is another girl here who set out for work but into Europe. She wants to
work in Germany because she learned German language and can't speak English.
I want to ask you Brian: Is everybody there eating fast food? I watched TV lately and there was
a programme about USA . It was a story about how people feed there. They said that the
fast food is very popular there. Is it so? I must admit that fast food here is becoming popular
too. I think it's not very healthy to eat such food. What do you think about it? Do you eat fast
food? As for me I did taste the hamburgers and the others, it is tasty enough, but not healthy

How are you today? It's Friday today and I am working last day on this week. Oh, this night I
had a sleep about 7 hours, but I feel that it's not enough and I want to sleep now. Thanks God tomorrow
will be Saturday and I will sleep as long as I want! So do you have any plans on this weekend? I want
to go to the bowling in Saturday evening. Unfortunately I play not good enough. My top point is only

(it mean fluffy). It have very interesting story. Once about 4 years ago I went home from my work. I only
started to work on new workplace in the our hospital. I went across the road and saw a kitten. It laid on the
ground and its pad was in a blood. It was a very pity for me to see it in this situation. But the most
offensive thing that all people who went around it didn't anything. I took it and went to veterinary hospital.
It has rupture of pad. I gave all my money that I had to doctor and in next month this kitten can stay on all
pads. Then I took it in my home. In this time I lived with my mom. I tended about it till its pad was fully
healthy and then I decided that it will live with me. Now Pushistik feels very good. But it still live in my
mom's home because I linger in my work often and I can't give good care to it. Pushistic is very glad when
I visit to my mom. So I love it very much. I send you some pictures of me and Pushistic. It was taken about

Hello again Brian!

So how are you there? Are you feeling well? I hope that you are in good mood and health too!
Brian, I forgot to tell you some news in morning message. I went to my agency yesterday and I was
told that I will be able to choose a location near you! It might be not your town but somewhere
very close! As soon as all of my documents will be ready I'll reserve a flight. As I stated
before I think it will be by November 3. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! I have
never traveled so far before! I just don't know will wait for me there. My mom and my other
relatives are also very nervous about my trip, but they are all trying to hold me on and to
help me to get ready for the trip. Brian, maybe you can give me some advises. What should
I take with myself, how to behave. I do not bringing any personal stuff - just clothing. What
should I take else? Please let me know your thoughts.
By the way, I want to ask you Brian. I've heard that piercing or tattoos are very popular
in America. Is this a truth? A year ago I wanted to make a tattoo on my hip, but I didn't
venture. But I still have one hobby. I maybe never told you before and it is because I have a
very little time for it right now. I play piano a little bit Brian! I have never played

And again I have to apologize that didn't write to you earlier. I hope that
you will forgive me because I had some sad things happened. Did I tell you
already about my aunt who lived in Omsk city? She died this Monday and I went
to the funeral. She was my dad's sister. I loved her very much. She was only
61 and died from cancer as my father. It's very sad. So I was in Omsk city
last 3 days and returned only yesterday evening. I hope that you understand
and will not feel angry that I didn't write. I really missed you this days,
Brian! And I am very glad finally writing to you. So how are you? Oh, I have
hear about fire in San Diego area from our TV news. It's very fearfully! I have
hear that about 500 000 people were evacuated. Is it a true? It's horrible! Anyway
I have good news too. Today I finish my work in russia. I need to do some little
things before I will finish it fully. But I hope to make it all today. So I have
nervous and hard day. Tomorrow I will go to the agency and reserve tickets to NYC

I am in internet club now and try to write to you first time from here. Hope that all things will
work and you will get my letter. How are you? Are there something new? I have good mood
today because I slept almost till 11 a.m. this morning. Also I have other reason for such mood.
I just returned from the agency where I was informed about all details of my travel and want to
share it with you now. In the first: I couldn't visit to States November 3. Unfortunately there are
no economic tickets to New York city on this date. All tickets were reserved already. I don't want
to pay more money for first class and I reserved ticket for November 8. It's the nearest date they
have a tickets for. So I will arrive in States November 8. I will need to go to the Moscow
November 7 because there is the closest international airport there. Now I have a week and half
before this date for packing some my things and spend more time with my friends and relatives
here. Also I was informed that as soon as I will arrive to New York, courier from the branch of
my agency will meet me in the airport. Then I will go to sign my contract. I asked they about
place near you, Brian and they told me that it will be possible to get job in your area. But
exact place I will chose myself because there are different salaries and prices of rent in different
places. Before I will sign my contract I will get a list with possibility places of my work in you
area. Brian, I will need your help with it. After I will get this list, I want to call to you that
you could give me some advises about this places. Could you help me with it? I hope so. I will

I awoke this morning with very good thoughts. I know exactly that it was you in my
dream. You know, it was a wonderful dream! We had a leisurely walk on the seaside.
We were going so close from the bank that the waves caresses our feet. There was so
beautiful blue sky and the seagulls were spinning just under our heads. We were holding
on our hands, talking and laughing about something. After I awoke, I decided to write you
this letter. Brian, what do you think if we will try to move our relationship to the next

in Beslan city. Did you hear about it? It was tragical days in our country. After it we have
a mourning in Russia each September 1st. It's like a September 11th in your country. Oh, I always
think that everyone on our planet wants to live happy - to go to the job, to come back home to
their family, to play with kids and many other good things. But if it is so I can't understand
from where all the terrorists and crime are coming? Indeed people can't live in peace?! During
the whole history of our world people kill other people. Who is right? May be somebody is right
and somebody is wrong in quarrel? The most interesting thing in this question that always the
enemies or belligerents are sure that exactly they are right! How do you think Brian? There
are so many wonderful things in our life! We just have to learn to see all these things! We have

I'm finally come to the internet club and writing to you now. What weather do you have?
We have cold in my area. It look like a winter will start very soon. But it seems to
me that I will not see first snow in my city, because I will go to your country. Oh,

Hello my dear Brian.

How are you? How is the weather there? I hope you feeling good. I have some not good news
for us. Oh, I don't know where to start. Today I drove my car to move to my agency. I needed
to pay last part of my bills to agency. When I came to the agency and paid them, I got all
documents and ticket in my hands. I was very glad and happy! I wanted to come back to my home
soon and to let you know about these good news! When I drove car to my home I got accident!
The boy ran out to the street in front of my car!!!! It was so unexpected for me, I could react
but all I could do is turn my car to the left side! Because at the right side was parked big truck
and I couldn't stop without blow to boy at this short distance. The boy ran out behind of that
truck and I couldn't see him in time. Because of it I turned to the left and I struck other car!!!
It's bad news. But more bad things are the car I struck was foreign expensive car and I would
have to pay to fix all damages! The man from that car called road police and they made up protocol
of accident. The boy ran away and we couldn't find him! So all fault was mine. But I hope you can
understand that this fault of that boy. But I couldn't prove it because boy was absent. When the
expert commission said me about sum of money I have to pay I was shocked and cried a lot!!! I didn't
have this kind of resources! The damages of the foreign car were big and my car suffered strongly too!
Don't worry I am ok and my health is good. I got only couple of scratches and bruises. The police took

The police gave me copy of protocol and other papers and bill to pay for accident. They said that
I have to pay it in short time and all I thought up is move back to the agency and ask them about
getting money back. I told them about my situation and after two hours of talks they gave me money
back. They took back all documents and ticket. So now I have no it in my pocket and all documents
in agency again! But they said that I have to pay them back during 14 days else they will cancel my
request for getting work in your country!!!!! So they will delete my documents and will cancel reserved
ticket! Agency said that they can't hold my documents and ticket long time. So if I want to get documents
and ticket and to come to you I must pay them completely during 14 work days. Else I will lose all I have!!!
All my dreams will be broken! I will not be able to get new job I can't start new life in your country but
more important I will not be able to meet you and to be with you Brian!!!! This is terrible situation
for me and I am in depression now because even that I got money from agency it was not be enough
to pay for accident completely!!! So I spent all money that I saved some years. I wanted to bring some of
this money to my trip and much part give to my mom, but I spent it all. When I came home I asked my
friends about help that I could pay for my papers and tickets again. They were shocked and commiserated
to me. We could find some money but I still have to find some funds to pay for my documents and tickets
that I could go to America! It's not very much of money but I don't know where to get it! My friends did
all they could and I can't ask them about help again because they will not be able to help. They would
like to help more but they can't! They said that I can give debts back as soon as it will be possible for
