# Details: This very handsome guy started communication with me through True.com. We began chatting regularly. He exhibited an over zealous interest in me and expressed an intense "Love" toward me very early on ie.poems, many compliments, saying we were the "perfect match" and this email titled "I LOVE YOU" "My Princess ---- Let me start by saying that I thank God every night since I found you. You came into my life when everything seemed so dark but you provided the light to find my way. Ive never been so certain of anything in my life like I am of us. You have totally changed my outlook in life and I thank you for that. I never thought that someone could love me like you do, but guess what? I love you that much too. I feel as if Im walking over clouds just thinking about you. You make my life complete. I know youve said we could do foolish things while in love, but you know what? With you I wouldnt mind being a fool for the rest of my life. I love you so much and I know you love me too. I know that others looking into our relationship might think that were saying too many foolish things too soon but they just dont know how we feel about each other. Theres nothing foolish about the things Ive told you, I meant every word I said. I love you and for you and D. I would do anything, I love you both so much. Today I promise you that I would do anything in my power to make you a great person, outstanding father and loving husband. I LOVE YOU!!" rnWhich were the first clues. After reading through all of our notes, it was obvious that nothing was ever overly personal on his part and he never addressed too many things I had written in emails or specific questions I had asked. They dont like to give out too many details, which is understandable in the beginning, but after talking and exchanging romantic words I would think, whats the hold up? He was supposedly from Portugal, owned an Import/Export business here in Bonham, TX and owned 3 acres in Greenville, TX...Was going on a business trip to London to wrap up a deal, then fly out to meet me in California. After a few weeks of 3 hour long chats, emailing and phone calls then all of a sudden he had to travel to Lagos, Nigeria and could not transfer funds to obtain a hotel from where he was at in London and with a sense of urgency asked me to help out! I told him I was not able to assist him...After that I did not hear from him for about a week. I stopped all communication with him when realizing he was probably trying to scam me...that same night he asked me to wire money to Nigeria of all places! lol I met another man from a dating site for business purposes and I asked him what his experience had been thus far with the online dating thing...Without knowing anything about my current situation, he proceeded to warn me about these foreign "i" people coming on strong with "Love" and then asking to send money to Nigeria etc..I thought, Oh Shit! Is this happening to me right now??? So, I immediately took action, looked into everything, emails, phone calls etc...And sure enough, everything originated out of Nigeria from the beginning! I was heart broken and had to stop looking at "his" picture because it was just too painful...They are good at this and they keep it going, even after you tell them you know what theyre doing and that youve reported them! Strange. Very good liars!!! They change up the story and keep extending it in accordence with what you say. He started going along with my thoughts on the "scammer" idea. I had revealed some info Id come across. He went as far as saying he thought that that was what was happening to him, thats why nothing made sense since hed gotten to Nigeria. He kept saying how confused he was...That the government was apart of the scam and the customs would not release his containers of goods for his clients...That he had been robbed of $38,000 cash along with all documents, beat up badly and thrown from a cab...The hotel would not let him leave without paying etc. I told him to stop being so dramatic! It was annoying and obvious the way he whined and nagged me on the phone when explaining his supposed misfortune...almost crying on the phone...I thought, would a guy like this one, really be calling me, a lady he just recently met online expecting financial help? I highly doubt it...And if hes 36 years old, where are all of his friends, family and other contacts etc...??? They also use God as a tool to manipulate and deceive you...Because he continued on and on I actually asked him if the "con-artist" fell for his "victim"? lol He only got a couple crappy photos that I purposely sent blurred so they couldnt use them elsewhere, my heart for a short time and some of my time...I never gave any money...It bothers me that these photos are most likely not even "him". I mean this man doesnt even know his pictures are being used in fraudulent activity!!! Not good.rnAnother thing I found out after looking into all of this, is that these people not only want your money, but they also get into your computer through downloads and through Yahoo IM, they can reroute the IP, that was another avenue he took in trying to keep it going, he said they had tapped into his laptop, his phones, IM, IP etc, etc...hahahaha...I asked him if hed ever considered acting and told him if those really were his pictures, then he would fit right in here in Los Angeles! lol Too crazy! It can be very dangerous and hurtful, beware!

The next day after being asked to wire funds to NIGERIA & being warned of this type of thing, I researched all the information & had True.com remove the profile. They said they would look into it! I haven't heard anything as of yet. That was in the beginning of May'07...I also put a report into the FBI & have put 2 more adding to the story & info...And more...I came across this info but it is not known if he is apart of this: Banking transactions and Western Union transfers are done through Oceanic Bank; Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria, 23401. Physical addresses are listed as: 2 Oluwolagbon and/or 16 Oluwolagbon Street off Akowonjo Road; this is within walking distance of the Akowonjo Branch of Oceanic Bank. The contact persons and phone numbers are As follows: Pastor Chris and Tina Burton; 234-803-753-9979 Morris Johnson (promoter); 234-802-897-3154 Mr. Adilo (housing manager); 234-805-699-5267 Mr. David (church custodian); (phone number to be posted soon) Larry P. Jones; (Western Union money wire recepient)
When I found this info I eventually brought it to "Mathew's" attention & he said I've met these people since I've been here...I am surprised at these people they seem soo nice! hahaha can you believe this guy? lol Talk about weird... lol It's actually sad.
