yes, they do work, but you need to do your own research and dicede on what one to work with. Some of those companies haven't been in business 20+ years because they're universal failures. You can research them by calling the company you are thinking of using and asking them for references. Granted, you can repair your credit yourself too so make sure to research aspect as well.

Comment from Coralie

I wouldn't pay soeomne else to do a job that you could do yourself. It might take a little time and a little patience on your part, but keep at it until those creditors get the stuff removed from your report. If you recently paid things off, you need to wait at least two months for it to be updated on your report. Now, your collections and stuff wont just dissapear from your credit report, but the creditors should update them to show that they have been paid in full. so wait to months, get a copy of your report, and see if there are things that still show as debt you owe. If you have already paid it, contact the creditor and ask them to update it as paid. If they still havent updated in another month or so, then contact the credit reporting agencies, transunion, equifax and experian and do a dispute on everything that hasnt been updated as current and paid in full. good luck.

Comment from Wise one

Gentlemen, when you see one of these faces that tends to look good or hot in you estimate. Well they are the same as picking up a mean snake. They will use many different names, photos, or stolen photos, places that they say they are from or even appear different. If you are guessing that they might be from the USA, ask them to tell you something about that city or town. It's more than likely they will not say anything about it! Another one is the e-mail address that they use, which is a agency thats a scam. You'll get those 4,5, or 6 e-mails for free and then comes the lies. All it takes is a few bad apples to screw it up for the rest. So if you have more money than brains, it won't be a problem. Until you either get smart or want to see that this sort of shit doesn't happen to your fellow man. You'll figure it out soon enough.
