Yeah Forrest,had 2 email accounts that were hacked into,but thank krist I didn't get spammed like you,they did however manage to phish a credit card,but I found out quickly,got it blocked & got a refund.So no loss,just inconvenience.There are some real bad bastards out there. More than likely was some particular bug.I took my PC to get de-loused & it took these guys 3 days to de-bug! I now use Comodo as the firewall,& use 3 other programs to keep out the trash & haven't had a problem in the last few weeks! PPP,my son is now on blue belt & will be going for red in a couple of months.The sensei said by the time he's 13 he can go for black,the dojo doesn't accept any younger,but that's OK,it teaches patience,it's only 2 years & that goes quick! SOE: The same thing happened to me starting about 6 weeks or so ago. I suddenly was getting 20,000 "Undeliverable" "Out of office" replies. I hadn't send anything out. I changed passwords, tightened filters and even had Yahoo take a look into the problem. They claim never to have seen such an attack. But for the last week it has been peaceful. FYI - remember gang and newbies...95% of all scams, whether e-mails from Russia or other East Europena Countries or online messaging from Africa are done by men. Most are part of low level crime groups or student groups. The photos you see posted here are rarely that of the real scammer. They are just photos which have been downloaded from various modeling websites or personal pages, including facebook. There are a few who contact is made through web-cams sites. And if you fall for any lines given to you from the women on these sites, then you are just an idiot and deserve to lose your money. There are some brazen young women in the Phillipines who risk their identity on web cams. Be careful and use your best judgement. And remember, look at these photos and ask yourself, does this beautiful 23 y.o. woman really need to fall for a man who is twice her age and lives in another country thousands of miles away. Hopefully common sense will prevail.

SUMMARY OF ADVICE FOR PREVENTING BEING SCAMMED: 1) Check ALL I.P. addresses on ALL emails from ALL ladies. This is a great tool-free to use-just copy and paste the whole of the original source header email into it--- http://headertool.apelord.com // This will give you info on where the email originated. So-e.g. If a lady says she is writing from a certain country-see if the IP checker is correct. BEWARE- scammers sometimes use a genuine IP first time, then in subsequent emails, they forget and revert to ‘a known scammers IP!’>> 2) Create a file on ALL ladies who contact you. In this file note down-their DOB/age/place of birth/qualifications/ IP address(es!!?)/job/ etc>> 3) Cross check the info given in emails-against what they say in their profiles.>> 4) Ask them questions-see IF they answer you. If they are not reading your emails, then they will be using ‘standard pre-produced emails’—WARNING-scammer! >> 5) Whilst ‘chatting in emails’ after a few weeks, ask them when is their birthday? (Perhaps hint that you intend to send them a present?!)- See if the DOB info they answer coincides with what is on their profile.>> 6) Perhaps after sending them your photos, if you suspect they are a scammer, send them a photo of another man (even a famous actor!!)- & -see if they notice?! >> 7) Copy and paste into Google the following: their email, their nickname on web site, their name given to you, some text from their emails etc—you will be amazed what will pop up if they are a known scammer! >> 8) A HIGH %age of the profiles and photos posted on dating sites are stolen photos of innocent ladies. Some are female scammers, some are genuine ladies>> 9) Set up a ‘GMail’ account-specifically for corresponding with ladies. Also use that email as your contact point from the dating web site where you have your own profile posted. This will at least afford you some degree of security, rather than having scammers accessing your private email account on your computer>> 10) Get the ladies phone number, and phone them. At least that way you will know if it is actually a lady you are corresponding with! If it is a man, they will make excuses Not to give you their number e.g: ‘I have laryngitis’, ‘my phone fell into water at home’, etc>> 11) NEVER send money to ‘a photo’. Because until you actually meet that ‘lady’ a photo is ALL she is!!>> 12) Warning—be prepared to have ‘deep pockets’ if intending to meet a foreign lady. You will need to budget for at least 2 trips to see her, and to meet her family and friends. That is: Airfare, visa, taxis, hotel, meals out, day trips, expenses. This WILL add up to $000’s !!>> 13) Get yourself a cheap web cam, suggest that they also get one. This will not apply if they are using an internet café>> Enjoy- and—Good Luck!
