Depends on what dating site you visit. I've only been contacted once by a scammer using the translarion scam. Of the scammers I have reported, I'd guess 75% actually read some of what I was sending, the other 25% would just reply with the next letter in the cycle. Roamer and I are in contact with one now who is just sending the next letter, never reading what is sent, so I am now writing an original opening paragraph and then cutting and pasting a Yahoo new item. Takes the load off me having to come up with new BS to send.

Just another thought out of left field, aren't all their letters translated by an Agencies interpreters/translators? If that's the case, then surely these people would know a scam letter & should notify the agency immediately! Or am I being so cynical that even them knowing it's a scam,by us reading the letter we give them money,so it wouldn't be in their interests to do so? From personal experience I know that's the case with TopLop.

That still costs money, no matter how small the amount. You are out the $1 plus the WU fee. Seems the only one to profit would be Western Union. I prefer to screw with them by messing up the wire transfer number for the invisible money. Then, I hire an incompetent courier service to deliver more invisible funds to the wrong address.

Hey gentlemen, just a thought.I know how it's recommended to string these scammers along while they tip toe through the tulips to the Western Union office, but I was wondering, what if only $1 was sent on the 3rd & final call? I would think the look on their faces would be priceless when they realise that they've been head-f^cked! Your collective thoughts please!

Hehe, they have a scammers union? Would be struggling to get dues out of them. At 6' tall Juliet is a spectacular example of African womanhood and I only regret she isnt real. Too grumpy to be a good scammer though, and too fond of cut and paste.
