Lets face it if you are prepared to let these woman rip you off you only have yourself to blame. If you cant afford to loose a few grand why send money in the first place. I have been scammed but not by Russians but by people in my own city and lost hundreds of thousands not a few lousey grand. I look on it as a sport, you just sit back and wait for a new one to come along and have a bit of fun. It certainly sharpens up your letter writting skills and just think when a genuine one comes along the letter writting will be a piece of cake and she will fall for you. I look on it as scamming the scammer.

You may scammed and did loose a lot of money.
I know that most scammers aren t even living in Russia or what country they say that they live in.
In fact there are scammers who live in some other countries.
Most of them don t even need this extra money for what they are need it for.
They do it for sport and this way of getting money is a very easy way of getting it when you are very patience.
You can say that the most scammers are very lasy and not so very smart as they think they are.
I was scammed ones and it will not happen again even when they send me an e mail about a very sad story.
So Gerold,my tip for you is ,go on with your life and try to forget your big misstakes.
How very hard it can be.
You wil not find your scammer at all and when you do,you will loose money again because you need money for the trip to this girl.

All in all i think it's sad what's going on around here...we all lack money and we all go through hard times, some more than others...but ripping off has no excuse.
Even if this comment of mine might sound stupid just consider thinking it over.
I strongly belive that those who are looking for love outside their borders should consider knowing more about woman's/man's culture...as where they come from. Why do i say that?
Because cultural background counts very much (yes even in love) and knowing more helps avoiding missunderstandings(as what we'r used to and not, and what for others seems natural)
Not that is anyone's problem, but i look back at what went wrong when i first met my foreigner bf, and must confess that the person from behind the e-mails and calls was no longer there when we met. What seemed to be natural for him was out of line for me and my culture...and backwards.
So.. for what's worth it... think of it.

Well i'm sorry if i confused you guys but yep a darn redhead i am and proud of it...with respect to you'r question Forrest i went through my own personal trauma with meeting foreigners(in fact just one...so i should say meeting a foreigner) after it i developed an obsession with these place...but mostly i must say i love this gang sense of humour...sometimes dirty, sometimes dark, other times plain ol' fun.

The love of my life is back! I can say for sure that the girl in the pictures is in fact part of the scam. We have corresponded on 3 different ocassions and has sent picture proof of herself holding various items that I asked her to as to prove she is real. Let's not wish anybody death Roamer. How about taking the amount of money she has scammed and collecting it, rolling the same amount of $ in pennies and then shoving them up her lovely backside.
