Interesting, is this trip to a "romantic place" a new twist to the now tired travel scam? I have just sent in a report from a contact in rbrides that was trying the same thing. Albeit, in a much more rushed fashion that this scammer used.

Sorry L.B. - It is more difficult for an Eastern European or Russian to get a visa to Italy than almost any other country. I will repeat this for the millionth time - Do not send money to men or women that you have never met; I don't care what the reason is. Think logically before you suffer emotionally and finacially. Remember the old Beatles Song - "Can't Buy Me Love". L.B. - make sure you notify Western Union about the scam and file a report with the Ukranian Embassy.
