Yes, this woman after only 4 or 5 emails asked me for money to travel to the US to see me. However, i was on to her right away and reported her to russianscamcheck.org as soon as I received the email asking for $. This was late June/early July 2006. Hope no one gets stung by this one!

I got the exact same emails with using this nameFrom Elena Uzkih Pervouralsk, Lenina, 3 and this email address oceanic_pearl34@yahoo.com just different pictures. As of 7/17/06 still thinks i don't know.

I got the exact same emails from someone with the same assumed name but a different set of pictures. Thanks much for your help at avoiding getting scammed. Very difficult to verify people's identities esp. in a foreign country.

Damn Dameon i think you finally hit it.....we can be travel agents and send all scammers on prison tours, tell them we are sending them to all of these beauty contests as judges and that we value their opinions....yeh...

Glad to see the Travel Agents are doing a brisk business over there. I guess Expedia, Travelocity and Priceline have not reached Mother Russia yet.
