I received letters from this gal, too. She never got around to asking for money, fortunately. She just quit writing. Guys, if someone 30 years or more younger than you writes you an unsolicited letter, BEWARE (unless you're rich and famous; but then, if you were, you probably wouldn't be trolling these waters. There may be fish, but there are also sharks... )

Hey cobber. Careful with the name calling here please. Yes, it is an Australian yahoo addy, and that is strange,eh? I am writing to a sheila from Peru and has also has a "yahoo.com.au" ....I find that very odd. I did ask her to explain, but she could not quite get what I was asking, except to say that she is certainly in Peru. Now, before I get a lecture on Peruvian women....the point that I am trying to make here is....how come overseas people have a ".au" location ??? Anyone advise me on that matter ,please??

Not so stupid as you think my Canadian friend. She knew the price of what she needed in euros and had no means of converting it to Canadian Dollars. So she simply asked for what she needed in a currency she understood. If you ever travel to the Ukraine or Russia leave your Canadian money at home. They do not recognise it and will not even touch it. Everything is transacted in the American Dollar or the Euro. Oh and by the way in case you were even wondering leave your bank card at home too.
